Americold Logistics Freezer

This 132,000 square foot freezer presented special challenges to the design team. It had to be constructed rapidly, as it was adjacent to serve a new adjacent processing facility, to which it was connected by conveyors.

Working with our design/build client, Fisher Construction Group, PSM accommodated the humid climates of America’s Southeast with special materials, vestibules, and thermal barrier detailing to prevent condensation and reduce moisture entering the building.

The building was ready to store product just 5½ months after groundbreaking, and finished in 7 months.
